I'm not really sure how this happened, it started out as me practicing clouds, and suddenly -boom- this happens. All in all, I think this turned out pretty well. I've got to work on requests, but school has been a bitch. The only reason I was able to make this was because I accidentally stayed up 'til 4 in the morning this last thursday... oops. I love this! The soft textures you used for the water and the sky really give a sense of warmth to the painting. Even the softened lines of the cityscape on the horizon helps give the overall scenery an ultimately serene feel.
